Notes:
¹ 白亜紀 (hakua-ki) is Japanese for the Cretaceous period but noting that the lyrics use 期 instead of 紀, simply translating 白亜期 as such wouldn’t be quite right. I did a bit of digging and it turns out the Cretaceous period was named such due to large amounts of chalk deposits found in that geological layer, and that Cretaceous is derived from creta which is Latin for chalk. Then I did more digging into the Latin to figure out if there’s an adjective for creta, something like chalky, and it turns out there is: cretosus. So I translated 白亜期 as “a Cretosus time”. Hopefully that’s what ISSAY intended with writing that.
